Tennessee Department of Education Commissioner Candice McQueen announced the appointment of Dr. Kirk as TSD Superintendent 11/28/18 Dr. Candice McQueen announced on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 that Dr. Vicki Kirk has been appointed to serve as the full-time Superintendent of Tennessee Schools for the Deaf beginning January 1, 2019. Dr. Kirk met with TSD staff Wednesday afternoon to follow-up on the announcement. The video of her meeting with TSD staff is posted with this information as well.
