The Department of Instruction presents guest speaker Dr. Wyatte Hall, Research Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center, to discuss "The Hidden Social Epidemic of Language Deprivation". This event will be held at TSD Knoxville's Dining Hall on August 30, 2019. All educators, parents and stakeholders are welcome!

"Language and Literacy for Littles" newsletter provides information, events and different creative ideas for parents and children to discover ways to incorporate language skills daily.

Family Learning Day in Johnson City, TN - July 20, 2019

The Family Learning Day will be held in Johnson City on June 20, 2019 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM EST. There will be a variety of fun activities and workshops for parents and kids including Deaf Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Deaf Adult Panel and many more. The cost of the event is $5.00 per person with a maximum of $20.00 per family. Please click the link provided to register!
