TSD Family Learning Weekend Summer Events 2019

Family Learning Weekend and Family Learning Day events are now open for registration! These events are scheduled across the state and will occur between May and July. We hope you will make the Family Learning Events part of your family plans this summer!

TSD Featured in The Blackburn Report

U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn featured some of our students in her newsletter, The Blackburn Report! She said, "This week, I welcomed an amazing group of students from the Tennessee School for the Deaf to my office in Washington, D.C. I am so happy to continue working with the School for the Deaf to enrich the lives of their students and their community."

TLC/Preschool Parent Training & Deaf Panel

The Toddler Learning Class and Preschool teams had an AMAZING parent training for the month of February!
All of elementary school parents were invited to attend. The panelists told about their own experiences and communication barriers they experienced growing up. Thank you to our panelists and our parents for attending

Parent & Family ASL Classes

ASL Classes specifically for parents and families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children will be held on Tuesday's (ASL 1 - 6:00-7:00 pm, ASL 2 - 7:00-8:00 pm) in the TSD Knoxville Elementary School Library.
