hello to USD alumni supporters and the community at Large as the new Supra tendon of the Tennessee schools for the deaf I am pleased to announce the addition of two positions to our leadership team beginning in August and Lasting through mid-December mating and Analysis of areas needing Focus have occurred here at t s d I am pleased to announce that after a rigorous interview process TSC will have a new Chief academic officer and a new Chief compliance officer Personnel in both positions will serve all three of our campuses the roles and responsibilities of each of these individuals are designed to promote academic Excellence for autistic students on the Knoxville Nashville and Jackson campuses these individuals will be responsible for the support of deaf and hard-of-hearing students and local school districts across the state of Tennessee as well the leadership faculty staff have a sincere desire to broadcast tsd's excellent academic programming the new CAO will be Jessica McNamee with an anticipated start date of January 3rd 2022 is Matt behind currently serves as the lead principal on our Knoxville campus she is seven years of school principal ship experience in addition to miss Mac Mahon School leadership experience she served as a classroom teacher for 18 years driven by strong belief that all deaf students need access to bilingual educational programming for optimal literacy levels Ms Mac Mahon is dedicated to discovering and sharing and knowledge of bilingual education which will certainly set the next generation of Tennessee death adults on a post-secondary path of success nacc OB doctor Heidi Jordan with an anticipated start date of February 14th 2022 dr. Jordan currently serves as the elementary principal at the floor school for the deaf and blind prior to this role she served as an individual education plans coordinator at fstb dr. Jordan of course began her career as a classroom teacher throughout her career dr. Jordan has welcomed the opportunity to provide support to more and more students families and staff members she is delighted to serve in her new role as Chief compliance officer at the Tennessee schools for the Deaf exciting things are happening here at t s d and we are thrilled to share these initial updates with you as we grow both in number of students and in the services we provide thank you
