Parent Outreach

The Tennessee Schools for the Deaf Parent Outreach K-12 Program supports parents of deaf children in their educational journey. K-12 Outreach serves any Tennessee parent of deaf children regardless of school choice or learning method, offering newsletters, parent support meetings, parent sign language classes, parent training seminars, and many other learning opportunities.
Family Learning Weekend is offered annually to families of deaf and hard of hearing children. Programs and fun activities are designed to increase knowledge and understanding of the deaf child's experiences.
