Description: Support Lead Principal in improving the quality of teaching and student learning by planning, implementing, and facilitating differentiated support to instructional staff to improve teacher effectiveness and student outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: These are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Analyze school-wide student data as the basis for developing a school plan.
• Oversee the planning, facilitation and follow-up of professional learning communities.
• Team-teach with colleagues, demonstrate model lessons, and develop and help implement curriculum.
• Observe and provide peer assistance and coaching toward meeting teachers’ personal learning plan goals. Research and field-test, within the school, appropriate strategies that target the identified area of student need.
• Participate in all TEAM trainings and become a Certified TEAM Evaluator.
• Participate in professional development planning, curriculum meetings, and other meetings as directed by the Director of Instruction.
• Provide a clear description of the learning task and its content, monitor learner understanding and re-teach as necessary. Understand differentiation to meet the needs of diverse learners. Provide learners with appropriate practice and review, establish, and maintain learner involvement in the learning task.
• Collaborate in the classroom with teachers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of best practices in the areas of responsibilities
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements in areas of responsibility
• Manage and organize multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make student centered decisions
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with all stakeholders

• Valid Tennessee professional educator license with an administrative endorsement or demonstrated progress toward this endorsement
• Bachelor’s Degree in education but Master’s degree in relevant academic discipline preferred.
• At least five years of successful teaching as measured by performance evaluations, promotions and portfolio of work.
• Sign Language SLPI level of Advanced or higher.
• Exemplary evaluation scores on TEAM Rubric or equivalent and demonstrates expertise in content, curriculum development, student learning, data analysis, mentoring and professional development
• Proven track record of student growth
• Instructional expertise demonstrated through model teaching, team-teaching, video presentations and student achievement gains.
Curriculum Coach salary is based on Teacher Salary contract. Additional Curriculum Coach supplemental may also be included in accordance with the 2019
