Tennessee School for the Deaf - Knoxville
Our Purpose

The Tennessee School for the Deaf offers an individualized and comprehensive educational program. The school provides a total learning environment that utilizes state of the art curricula, materials and methods for the purpose of preparing students for adult life. Students are equipped academically, vocationally, physically, emotionally and morally to meet the daily challenges presented by society.

The 20th Annual Summer Institute for Educational Interpreters will be held June 11 - 14, 2012 at the Tennessee School for the Deaf in Knoxville. This training is sponsored by the State Department of Education and the Tennessee School for the Deaf. The Institute is open to all interpreters. Information and a registration form. . .

Jeanne & Co. managed to navigate the Knoxville weather and complete the Students' Final Mile on Friday and the Run for the Deaf on Saturday. A great time was had by all! See for yourself:
