Sibshops
Sibshops are high-energy, pedal to the metal, fun programs for siblings of children with special needs. While these programs are not therapy, many parents have reported they are therapeutic in nature. We play fun games, create delicious meals or snacks together, and share in peer support activities.
Geared for siblings ages 8-13, Sibshops provide a safe haven to talk about the good and not-so-good aspects of life with a sibling with special needs. For many of the siblings, it's often the first time they meet other kids whose lives are similar to their own. When asked about Sibshops, most attendees would say they are just plain FUN!
